Sheila Whitaker resides in Glen Burnie, Maryland. Sheila has Cerebral Palsy. Her hobbies include crafts including needle point, crosswords, shopping, and spending time with friends. Sheila is an MCIL board member, sits on the Anne Arundel County Commission for Disability, and she enjoys advocating for her neighbors. Sheila describes herself as outgoing, friendly, a go-getter, streetwise, and a fighter for needs.

Courtney Wallace, Ms. Wheelchair Maryland 2012


Congratulations to Courtney Wallace crowned Ms. Wheelchair Maryland 2012 in Rockville on November 5, 2011. Courtney is 29 years old; she has a 9 year old daughter, and her hobbies are reading, writing, enjoying nature and all things girly. Courtney works as a Life Coach and is the CEO of InsideOut Entertainment. She describes herself as random, encouraging, colorful, grandmotherly and revolutionary. Courtney will compete in Ms. Wheelchair America in Providence, Rhode Island in August 2012.

Sharonda Johnson-Wilkes, Ms. Wheelchair MD 2011

Congratulations to Sharonda Johnson-Wilkes from Fort Washington, Maryland. She was crowned as the 2011 Ms. Wheelchair Maryland on October 30, 2010 at the Hilton Hotel in Rockville. Sharonda will represent Maryland at the national pageant in Grand Rapids, Michigan in the summer of 2011.

Congratulations to Ms. Wheelchair Maryland 2010 Shannon Renade Lavine Minnick from Silver Spring, Maryland. Shannon was crowned at the Doubletree Hotel in Bethesda, Maryland on November 7, 2009. Shannon will represent Maryland at the Ms. Wheelchair America pageant in Grand Rapids, Michigan in August 2010.
