Advocating for people with disabilities

Sheila Whitaker resides in Glen Burnie, Maryland. Sheila has Cerebral Palsy. Her hobbies include crafts including needle point, crosswords, shopping, and spending time with friends. Sheila is an MCIL board member, sits on the Anne Arundel County Commission for Disability, and she enjoys advocating for her neighbors. Sheila describes herself as outgoing, friendly, a go-getter, streetwise, and a fighter for needs.

    The title of Senior Ms. Wheelchair MD 2013 fits you perfectly. Without a doubt, I know you will bring honor to the title with your outreach to the state of Maryland.

    Sheila, you are such an inspiration and indeed a lovely, lovely lady. It is thrilling to watch all you are doing this year for Ms Wheelchair Md, you wear your sash and crown with pride and you go out there and attend functions wtih a huge smile on your face. So proud to know you. :}
